465 – Shitty Ensigns with Dan Ludwig

Dan is one half of Breaking Mayberry, an anti-nostalgia podcast about watching old TV (starting with, as the title suggests, The Andy Griffith Show) and figuring out how it broke your grandparents’ brains.

After last week’s episode all about analyzing TV and talking about storytelling, we wanted to spotlight the fun and goofiness of old genre TV. And we couldn’t have found a better example than Shitty Ensigns, an RPG about poorly equipped Starfleet ensigns bumbling their way through missions.
